Ipollo-V2iPollo V2 Description

The iPollo V2 10Gh/s is a high-performance EtHash / EtcHash ASIC engineered for serious Ethereum Classic (ETC) and ETHW miners. It delivers a hashrate of 10Gh/s (10,000 MH/s) with an estimated 1500W power draw, targeting an efficiency of around 0.15 J/MH, which is competitive among current-generation ETC miners.

By supporting a range of EtHash-family coins such as ETC, ETHW, OCTA and XPB, the iPollo V2 gives miners flexibility to pivot as market conditions change. Its Ethernet interface, 200–240V PSU requirement and straightforward web-based management make deployment simple, even for operators running multiple units.

When combined with BT-MINERS logistics, pre-shipment diagnostics and responsive customer support, the iPollo V2 becomes a practical option for buyers who want a plug-and-play ETC miner with solid hashrate, manageable power usage and professional after-sales backing.

iPollo's Legacy & Product Line

iPollo has established itself as a pioneering ASIC manufacturer known for stability, efficiency, and specialization in high-performance mining across multiple algorithms. Since its launch, the company has focused on delivering powerful yet reliable hardware designed for long-term operation in both professional mining farms and advanced home-mining setups. iPollo gained recognition early through its commitment to optimizing performance-per-watt and building machines engineered for 24/7 industrial workloads.

The company’s legacy is best represented by its G Series, especially the well-known iPollo G1 and G1 Mini, designed for the GRIN network using the Cuckatoo32+ algorithm. These miners introduced high-efficiency GRIN mining to the market and quickly became standards for users seeking stable hashing and low failure rates. iPollo then expanded into Ethereum and ETC mining with the V1 Series, including the V1, V1 Mini, and V1 Classic, offering strong performance and memory-focused GPU alternatives before the Ethereum Merge.

Today, iPollo continues evolving its product line, delivering miners that balance power consumption, heat management, and long-term durability. With offerings that range from compact home units to high-throughput industrial models, iPollo remains a trusted brand for miners who value efficiency, stability, and consistent results across multiple blockchain ecosystems.

iPollo V2 vs iPollo V1 Classic

Compared with the older iPollo V1 Classic, the iPollo V2 delivers a massive jump in hashrate—from around 1.55Gh/s to 10Gh/s—while keeping power in the same class. That means far higher ETC output per unit and better density for racks and hosting, making the V2 the stronger choice for modern ETC mining.

FAQs

  • What Is The Lifespan Of This Mining Machine?

The lifespan of mining hardware is influenced by usage intensity, environmental factors like temperature, humidity, and dust. Proper maintenance and optimal conditions can significantly extend its longevity.

  • How Does Electricity Cost Impact Profitability?

Electricity costs play a crucial role in mining profitability, as high rates can quickly offset profit. Therefore, it is vital to access local electricity costs to determine if mining is viable. With high electricity costs and high liquidity of digital assets, investing in an energy-efficient miner becomes even more important.

  • What kind of warranty and support does BT-MINERS provide?

New units typically carry a manufacturer warranty for hardware defects for a limited period (often around 6 months, depending on batch and region). BT-MINERS adds pre-shipment diagnostics, secure checkout, worldwide delivery and after-sales guidance, helping buyers handle installation, basic troubleshooting and hosting questions.

  • Is the iPollo V2 suitable for mining pools like NiceHash?

Yes. The miner can be pointed at any pool that supports ETC or other EtHash-compatible coins, including large platforms like NiceHash, as long as you configure the correct stratum URL, wallet address and worker name in the web interface.

  • What is the recommended operating environment?

Manufacturer guidelines suggest running the V2 between 10–40 °C with 10–90% relative humidity. Avoid dust-heavy or very humid rooms, and keep intake air as cool and clean as possible to maximize hardware lifespan.

  • What network connection does the V2 use?

The iPollo V2 uses a standard Ethernet port for configuration and pool connectivity. It’s recommended to connect it via wired LAN to a reliable router or switch, ideally on a dedicated mining VLAN.

  • How does the V2 compare to the iPollo V1 Classic?

Compared with the V1 Classic’s 1550 MH/s hashrate and roughly 1240W power draw, the V2 jumps to 10Gh/s at ~1500W. That’s a huge increase in ETC hashing power for a relatively small increase in power consumption, giving much better performance per rack slot.

  • Does the iPollo V2 include a power supply?

Most distributors list the V2 as shipping with a compatible PSU, and the official specs assume a 200–240V AC input with around 1500W output. Check the BT-MINERS product page details to confirm exact PSU inclusion for your region and batch.

  • What kind of cooling does the V2 use?

The miner ships with a four-fan air-cooling system that pushes air straight through the chassis. It is designed for 24/7 operation in racks or shelves, but still requires a well-ventilated room to move hot air out of the space.

  • How much power does the iPollo V2 draw?

At full hashrate the iPollo V2 typically consumes around 1500W, with a recommended 200–240V AC input. Always size your circuit, cabling and PDU for continuous load plus safety margin.

  • Is the iPollo V2 good for home mining?

The V2 runs at roughly 70–75 dB, similar to a loud desktop or small server, and consumes about 1500W. It’s feasible for home use if you have a dedicated room, proper ventilation and a 200–240V power circuit; many buyers prefer to host it in small mining facilities.

  • What coins can the iPollo V2 mine?

The iPollo V2 is designed for EtHash / EtcHash-based coins, with a primary focus on Ethereum Classic (ETC). It can also mine other compatible assets such as ETHW, OCTA and XPB, depending on pool support and profitability.
